The kind of object that makes you question why candles ever lived in anything ordinary.

This is the Turner candleholder, designed by Belgian designer Xavier Lust for Italian brand Driade. Cast in aluminium with a mirror-polished finish, its S-curve silhouette reads more like sculpture than tableware. The sort of thing that earns its place on a shelf even when there's no candle in it. Lust is known for wringing maximum drama out of minimal form, and Turner is a perfect example.
