Chunky Murano bowl

A large bowl in blush pink opaline Murano glass, with a single hand-applied glass petal at the rim in a deeper rose tone. 

Attributed to Fratelli Toso, one of Murano's most celebrated glassworks, founded in 1854 and known throughout the 20th century for their refined use of opaline glass and organic floral details. No maker's mark present.

The kind of object that looks good holding rings, fruit, or nothing at all.

Good vintage condition, minor wear consistent with age. Diameter approx. 20 cm.
